Heather Payne

Heather began working in the legal field in 2000, starting out as an office assistant in a Probate and Estate Planning firm. She worked her way up to legal assistant and then paralegal. Heather has found a passion in the legal field and has over fourteen years of experience in personal injury on the side of the Plaintiff. She loves helping clients, working side by side with the attorneys, and thrives on doing her best every day. She will be celebrating ten years with Benson & Bingham Accident Injury Lawyers, LLC December 2023.

After work, Heather spends her free time on her other passion, baking. She makes custom cakes and cookies which allows her to use her creative side. Heather also uses her spare time serving in her church and volunteering at her son’s school.

Heather has been happily married for eighteen years to her husband Cory who is a CPA and has two teenage boys. Her oldest is involved in the musical theater program at his high school and is considering being a lawyer himself. Her younger son is part of the JROTC and takes aviation classes. His goal is to join the Airforce and become a pilot. She is very proud of her family and brags about them every chance she gets.
